Morgan Hollandworth

My name is Morgan Hollandworth and I have recently joined PsychAssociates as part of the team bringing mental health resources into local schools. I am thrilled to meet the needs of your family and get to know you and your children throughout this school year!

Education and Experience

I have spent most of my life in this area and graduated from Republic High School in 2015. After high school, I went on to obtain my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Missouri State University in 2019. During that time, I was an intern at Cox North hospital at the Center for Addiction where I worked in substance abuse counseling. I also worked in two preschool facilities and volunteered at the Springfield Dream Center with children ages 8 through 12 in an after-school program designed to provide structure and character-building skills to youth.

Current Focus and Interests

Today, I am still attending Missouri State University as a second-year student in the Clinical Psychology graduate program and will graduate this upcoming May. My goal for my career is to work with children and adolescents. I truly believe these years are formative, and what we do now makes an impact throughout life. I am excited to be a part of these resources for you and your children to help them grow, learn about who they are and overcome challenges. I now live in Springfield with my 2 dogs, Chewy and Stella. In my free time, I love to visit my family and friends (or call them these days), read, collect and play vintage video game consoles, go antiquing, and play with my dogs. I am looking forward to this year and the opportunity to work with you!
